GeoMax black HDPE geocell is developed for gravel stabilization, road reinforcement and soft ground improvement projects where loose filling materials require effective lateral confinement. Manufactured from high density polyethylene, the geocell expands into a three-dimensional cellular structure that holds gravel, crushed stone and soil inside individual cells. This confinement helps reduce lateral movement of aggregate and improves the stability of the reinforced foundation under repeated traffic loads

Product Specifications

The 150mm cell height provides sufficient confinement depth for road base and gravel stabilization applications. With a 356mm welding distance, the HDPE geocell can be expanded efficiently while maintaining a stable honeycomb structure after installation. The 1.5mm HDPE strips combine flexibility with durability, allowing the geocell to adapt to minor irregularities in the subgrade.

Ultrasonic welding is used to connect the HDPE strips, creating reliable joints that help maintain cell geometry during expansion, filling and compaction. Once the geocell is secured and filled with aggregate, the cellular structure supports improved load distribution and helps reduce rutting, localized settlement and surface deformation.

This HDPE geocell is suitable for gravel roads, access roads, construction roads, parking areas, road subgrades, railway foundations, embankments and general ground reinforcement. The folded structure is compact for transportation and can be quickly expanded at the construction site.
