Product Specifications

The 100mm cell height provides sufficient space for gravel or crushed aggregate used in common road reinforcement applications. With a 400mm welding distance, the HDPE geocell forms medium-sized cells that can be efficiently expanded across larger construction areas.

After the geocell is placed and secured over the prepared subgrade, suitable aggregate is filled into the cells and compacted. The vertical cell walls provide lateral restraint to the infill, helping reduce aggregate spreading and localized displacement under traffic loads.

High density polyethylene offers the flexibility required for installation on variable ground surfaces. The 1.5mm strips are connected by ultrasonic welding to create stable joints throughout the cellular panel. The foldable structure also simplifies storage, shipment and site handling before expansion.

Typical applications include gravel roads, rural access roads, road shoulders, temporary roads, construction platforms, parking areas and subgrade improvement. Depending on project requirements, the geocell can be used with gravel, crushed stone or selected soil.
