GeoMax black HDPE geocell is designed for gravel ground stabilization and light-duty reinforcement projects where shallow cellular confinement is required. Manufactured from high density polyethylene, the HDPE geocell expands into a three-dimensional honeycomb structure that holds gravel, crushed stone or selected soil inside individual cells. This cellular confinement helps reduce lateral movement of loose filling materials and supports a more stable finished surface

The 50mm HDPE geocell provides a relatively shallow confinement layer, making it suitable for applications that do not require deep aggregate filling. The 330mm weld distance forms compact cells that help maintain the position of gravel and other granular materials after installation.
During construction, the folded HDPE geocell panels are expanded across the prepared ground and secured before infill is placed. Gravel, crushed stone or soil can then be filled into the cells and compacted. The cell walls of the HDPE geocell restrict horizontal displacement of the infill and help maintain a consistent surface under normal use.
Ultrasonic welded joints connect the HDPE strips and help preserve the cellular structure during expansion and filling. The flexible material allows the HDPE geocell to follow minor ground variations while maintaining its basic honeycomb geometry.
