The 150mm cell depth allows a substantial quantity of crushed aggregate to be contained within the cellular reinforcement layer. Its 356mm welding pitch forms a relatively compact cell configuration suitable for projects specifying deeper granular confinement.

GM150-356 may be considered for quarry access roads, aggregate transportation routes, construction material haul roads and temporary industrial service roads.

Supporting Granular Layer Stability

When aggregate is placed inside the expanded cells, the surrounding HDPE walls help restrict lateral displacement. This can support more consistent material distribution within the reinforced road layer.

The performance of the completed road depends on subgrade conditions, aggregate quality, drainage and expected axle loads. Engineering evaluation is particularly important for frequent heavy truck traffic.
