Some engineered slopes require a deeper surface filling layer than conventional shallow erosion-control applications. GeoMax GM250-445 is a 250mm welded HDPE geocell intended for projects where substantial cellular fill retention is specified.

Deep Slope Applications

The 250mm cell height accommodates a thicker layer of selected filling material. Its 445mm weld spacing provides an intermediate cell geometry compared with compact and large-cell welded models.

GM250-445 may be considered for engineered embankment slopes, earthwork stabilization and selected infrastructure slope protection projects.

Anchoring and Fill Selection

Deep cellular layers on inclined ground require particular attention to anchoring, overall slope stability and the weight of the filling material.

The geocell can help retain soil or aggregate within the cells, but it does not replace geotechnical slope stability analysis.

Suitable fill and installation details should be determined according to the approved engineering design.

The expandable HDPE sections are manufactured using ultrasonic welding and supplied folded for transportation.
