Railway subgrade construction requires a stable foundation layer capable of maintaining granular material within the designed reinforcement zone. GeoMax GM150-356 is a welded HDPE geocell with 150mm cell height and 356mm weld spacing, developed for deeper subgrade and infrastructure reinforcement applications.

Technical Data

The deeper 150mm cellular profile allows a substantial amount of aggregate to be placed inside the geocell system. This makes the model suitable for railway foundation areas, transportation corridors, service access zones and other civil engineering projects requiring deep granular confinement.

Unlike rigid reinforcement panels, GM150-356 remains flexible and compact during transportation. HDPE strips are ultrasonically welded into sections at the production stage and collapsed before shipment.

Once delivered to the project, the sections can be expanded across the prepared subgrade. The cellular layer is secured before aggregate placement and compaction, creating a continuous reinforcement zone over the treated area.

The 356mm weld spacing provides an alternative geometry to compact 330mm geocell configurations and wider-cell products, giving engineering buyers more flexibility when selecting specifications for different foundation designs.
